Frequently Asked Questions
On this page we try to answer the most commonly asked questions we have been asked.
How Much Does It Cost To Remove Wild Animals From My Home?
Because the circumstances are different from job to job, it is difficult to give estimates over the phone or online. No two jobs are ever the same.
When we get a call to remove an animal, we send our Wildlife Supervisor out to the customer's home to do a detailed inspection and come up with an estimate. Estimates are always free with no obligation to purchase.
Are You The City Animal Control Dept?
No. We are a commercial wildlife and insect removal company. We do not pick up roadkill or trap stray dogs and cats.
What Types Of Wild Animals Do You Get Rid Of?
We remove raccoons, opossums, squirrels, bats, snakes, fox, bear, beaver, coyotes, alligator, birds and more. If it's an animal and it bothers you, it bothers us.
What Happens To The Animals You Capture? Are They Killed?
No, but there are some exceptions. Any animal that has rabies or is poisonous has to be put down according to state regulations. Mice and rats carry diseases and are considered vermin. They also must be dealt with in a lethal manner per state regulations.
Do You Have An Emergency Service?
Yes. Wildlife doesn't operate on a schedule. Rats, bats, raccoons and other wildlife can make themselves a nuisance at all hours of the day or night and we are prepared to remove them. Just call 706-221-8000 and someone will be there ready to assist you.
What Happens If Something Goes Wrong? Are You Insured?
Yes. We are fully insured in Georgia and Alabama, the two states that we operate in.
Are You The Same Company as Jarrod's Pest Control?
Yes. We started Affordable Wildlife Eviction with the intention of only dealing with wildlife removal. Satisfied customers would always ask if we did general pest control, too. When we answered "no", they would say that we really should, and if we did, they would retain us as their preferred pest control company. After enough of these requests, we decided to go after nuisance insects as well. It has been a tremendous success.
